Collaboration!

Collaboration! What a wonderful thing! Today was a professional development day for school. Who knew it would be so great and motivational?!? I came away with a new perspective concerning the faculty and other teams and how what we do really influences others. I talked quite a bit and made lots of comments, which is not completely usual for me unless I'm really comfortable. I guess I'm making up for all the years when I didn't say much. :)

I'm the collaboration team leader for my grade level, which also means I'm also on the professional development team. I present tomorrow morning and I hope that we can continue with the great things that happened today. I'm really excited for this year! I have an awesome team and there are such good things happening as a whole school. It's so great to be a part of such a wonderful school and district. I feel very blessed! I'm hoping for a great class, all 27 of them! Whew! What a way to start!

Good luck! I hope it went well. My computer said that no one has updated blogs in like a week, and then I restarted it and found a bunch of blog posts I haven't read yet.

I noticed that all of your posts except one have an exclamation point in the title. It makes me laugh. I love your enthusiasm!

Tash, you are awesome. I love your attitude about teaching and doing what's best for the kids. I know a few other teachers who are just so tired of teaching. I just love your enthusiasm and optimism. Way to go!!!!

About Me

Kelly and Natasha walk day by day through the blessings and challenges of daily life. Some days are wonderful and others are rough, but somehow we always make it through. It took a long time for us to find each other, but find each other we have. We are learning to be better parents, step-mom for the first time, and bringing a baby together into this world. Life certainly isn't easy, but we are making it work and growing closer everyday and loving each other more each day. This is all possible through our faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. This is our journey!
